Town Hall Park
Town Hall Park - 27.6 acres includes Town Hall Complex

Located behind Town Hall off Old Philadelphia Pike
(just west of Route 378).

  • Large pavilion with a capacity for approximately 200 people with two large charcoal pit burners.(One on each side of the two-sided pavilion, renter must provide charcoal). The pavilion rental only covers the pavilion, no other space is included.
  • This pavilion is equipped with electricity, 24 tables and no running water.
  • A reservation system is in place to rent the pavilion from April through October. Reservations are taken starting on the first Friday in January for that summer. Rates associated with pavilion rentals are as such: $100.00 rental fee and $50.00 deposit for Township residents (current driver's license must be provided). Non-resident rate is $150.00 plus a $50.00 deposit.
  • Business Use - Non-profit or not-for-profit applicant must provide Certificate of Insurance indicating either Comprehensive General Liability Coverage or Named Operation and Location on not less than $1,000,000.00 C.S.L. and naming Lower Saucon Township, and its officers and employees as additional insured's.
  • Softball field with lights, backstop and fence (Softball leagues have contracts for the field from Monday through Thursday.
  • Two large playground / jungle gym areas.
  • Pond for fishing (fish and release only).
  • Modern restrooms and water fountains - Please note that restrooms are not guaranteed to be open until mid-May (depending on weather), but port-a-potties are available.
  • Full basketball court and 1/2 court - with lights.
  • Two horseshoe pits (must bring your own horseshoe sets).
  • Nature trail (with crushed stone) runs throughout the park for walking or jogging - trail 2,296 ft. (3075 ft. w/loop).
  • Softball/Multipurpose field with lights, backstop and fence (leagues have contracts for field use. Therefore, use is not included in the Pavilion reservation).


Southeastern Park
Southeastern Park - 10.90 acres

Located off of Lower Saucon Road west of Wassergass across from Southeastern Fire Company

  • Large pavilion has the capacity for approximately 150 people with four smaller charcoal pits located at each of the four corners of the pavilion. The pavilion rental only covers the pavilion, no other space is included.
  • A reservation system is in place to rent the pavilion from April through October. Reservations are taken starting on the first Friday in January for that summer.)
  • Rates associated with pavilion rentals are as such: $100.00 rental fee and $50.00 deposit for Township residents (current driver's license must be provided). Non-resident rate is $150.00 plus a $50.00 deposit.
  • Business Use - Non-profit or not-for-profit applicant must provide Certificate of Insurance indicating either Comprehensive General Liability Coverage or Named Operation and Location on not less than $1,000,000.00 C.S.L. and naming Lower Saucon Township, and its officers and employees as additional insured's.
  • Certificates of Insurance shall state the following: The applicant's name and address, the policy data, and that a minimum of 30 days cancellation notice shall be provided to the Certificate Holder.
  • Modern restrooms - Please note that the restrooms are not guaranteed to be open until mid-May (depending on weather), but port-a-potties are available.)
  • Baseball/softball field, backstop and fence (leagues have contracts for field use; therefore, use is not included in pavilion reservation).
  • Modern playground / jungle gym apparatus.

Steel City Park
Steel City Park - 2.2 acres

  • Currently this pavilion has the capacity for approximately 64 people and includes eight picnic tables (no grills). There is an area where a grill can be placed if brought along. There is electricity for outlets and lights if you rent the pavilion. The pavilion rental only covers the pavilion, no other space is included.
  • A reservation system is in place to rent the pavilion from May through October. Reservations are taken starting on the first Friday in January for that summer.
  • Rates associated with pavilion rentals are as such: $100.00 rental fee and $50.00 deposit for Township residents (current driver's license must be provided). Non-resident rate is $150.00 plus a $50.00 deposit.

Polk Valley Park

This park is on Polk Valley Road and opened in Spring 2008

  • This large pavilion has the capacity for approximately 60 people and includes eight tables and grills. The pavilion rental only covers the pavilion, no other space is included.
  • Access to two port-a-potties.
  • 3 Multi-purpose fields (Soccer/Lacrosse/Football).
  • 2 Little League sized baseball fields (Hellertown Lower Saucon Little League have contracts for field use).
  • Paved walking/biking trails.
  • Tot Lot.
  • 1 acre dog park (opened Fall 2009).
  • Grass trails through naturalized areas.
  • Rates associated with pavilion rentals are as such: $100.00 rental fee and $50.00 deposit for Township residents (current driver's license must be provided). Non-resident rate is $150.00 plus a $50.00 deposit.

Kingston Park
Kingston Park - 1.93 acres

This park opened in 2013. The park is adjacent to the historic Lutz-Franklin Schoolhouse on Countryside and Limpar Lanes.

  • This small pavilion has the capacity for approximately 45 people and includes six tables (no grills) and two electrical outlets. The pavilion rental only covers the pavilion, no other space is included.
  • Kingston Park also includes parking (which can accomodate school buses), walking trails, and a composting toilet. A central feature of the park is a water garden dedicated in the memory of Ella Mary Kingston, who was a student at the schoolhouse.
  • Rate's associated with pavilion rentals are as such: $100.00 rental fee and $50.00 deposit for Township residents (current driver's license must be provided). Non-resident rate is $150.00 plus a $50.00 deposit.

Easton Road Fields

Acquired by the Township in April 2010, the Easton Road Fields are located across Easton Road from the Christ Lutheran Church and are bordered by Easton and Mockingbird Hill Roads. The 6+ acre property consists of two (2) baseball fields which are currently contracted out to the Hellertown Lower Saucon Little League for their use.



Woodland Hills Preserve

  • The Sandra Yerger Community Recreation Area and Nature Preserve, formerly the Woodland Hills Preserve, is a former golf course which was acquired by the Township in 2014 with Open Space funds, along with financial assistance from Northampton County and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Access to this public site is off of Countryside Lane, where a parking lot with portable toilet, trash receptacle, trail signage, and kiosk are also located.
  • The preserve, like other Township parks, is open from dawn until dusk. Permitted activities include hiking on marked trails, birdwatching, fishing in ponds, cross country skiing, and dog-walking (leash required.) Prohibited at the site are motorized vehicles, hunting, and horseback riding.
